Cool, but how does it work?
God @ Center Retreats can happen a number of ways, ranging from an introductory session to a one-time renewal retreat to the full 2-year, 4-retreat cycle. Grounded in practices from the Youth Ministry & Spirituality Project*, youthworkers set aside time to . . .
. . . experience the rest, renewal and delight of Sabbath time
. . . attend to God’s presence
. . . discern God’s leading for life and for each unique youth ministry
. . . discover ways to accompany young people in their faith journey
One-time events focus primarily on Sabbath and attending to God’s presence. The full cycle journeys in depth through all aspects of the Sabbath cycle, allowing time to “practice the practices” and integrate them into life and ministry.
